Cycle Safe Links

Our fantastic Cycle Safe team has shared these links with us. If you'd like to get more involved in cycling, check them out! (Some of them are Facebook links you might check out with your family.)

Anyone with an interest in learning more about bikes, you don’t even have to be able to change a tyre, they will teach you it all. They offer a drop in centre where you can repair or modify your own bike.  They also offer a kids after school programme.

ICEcycles is dedicated to helping people in the Christchurch area ride bikes more often - for health, for enjoyment, and for everyday transport. They provide free bicycle repairs and supply used bicycles to people who cannot otherwise afford one. They also donate bikes to people in need.  Do you have a spare bike?  ICEcycles accept bike donations and will rehome to a person in need.

Welcome to Go Cycle Christchurch!  Do you want to make cycling part of your day-to-day transport
We can help you make that happen.... and it's free!!

A great website with all the information you need to know about cycling in Christchurch.

The New Zealand Transport Authority site is recommended by the NZ Police and contains the road rules and information for cyclists

Lazy Sunday Cycle Christchurch aims to create an opportunity for normal people in normal clothes on normal bicycles to be able to ride bicycles for fun.
