Improving the lives of a billion people is not easy! Especially when we consider the complexity of our ever-changing and increasingly connected planet. However, the challenges of the future are accompanied by new tools that are also undergoing exponential change.
Find Your Billion is a free interactive one-day workshop, co-designed by Singularity University, for students aged 13-19 offered across New Zealand in September 2016. The next generation - what we call the exponential generation - are already socially conscious and this event will focus on empowering this motivated community. Participants will develop a greater awareness of technologies and the biggest challenges faced by the planet. They will also begin working in diverse groups to take action in the present to shape our future.
