    5. Hon Chester Borrows showed persistence because he had a lot of places he needed to go on to on Anzac day, at least three memorial services. Borrows had to get up at 5am to drive 90km to get to the first service. Borrows then went to a gathering where people were remembering a school that was closing after 102 years then he drove back home. He was very dedicated.

    6. One Habits of Mind that Hon Chester Borrows used was Stop and Think. This was because he had to be prepared for all of the services that he had to attend. He showed great dedication when managed to complete every task that was thrown at him. If he didn't stop and think, he wouldn't have been able to to write speeches, attend the services or meet people. He had to think ahead, including time to drive, eat and meet people. Borrows had to be ready for his extremely busy day, starting very early in the morning.

    7. The habit of mind that Hon Chester Borrows used was learning forever because when he picked up the hitch hikers he learned a lot about them and they learned a lot about him. Also he learned that he should be more organised in the future because he had to get up even earlier because he forgot to do some things and he still had to drive 90km to Whanganui by 5am.

    9. One habit of mind Borrows used was stop and think because,Borrows hadn´t finished his speech, and woke up at five am to write his speech. He also had to travel 90km to go to one of three services that Borrows went to. I think this shows dedication by being able to do that as most people wouldn´t want to get up at that time to get up in the morning and go, but he did it.

    10. I think that the main habit of mind that he has used is thinking flexibly because if the German hitchhikers in the first article page 2 paragraph 11 could not speak clear English then he would have to think flexibly on how to communicate. Also if he has a good idea he would have to think flexibly about how to get them to accept his idea. He could also accept some other ideas that could make his idea better.
