Storytelling in Toroa: Interesting Vocabulary


We have each selected our own goals for storytelling from the following list:

Many of us have chosen to focus on using interesting vocabulary. In our writing session yesterday, we wrote our most interesting words on the board as we used them:


Zen and Millie recommended using thesaurus.com to get ideas for new words. This is a great tool to use if you are feeling stuck.


It's important to consider whether the word sounds right to you in your story. You can check the precise meaning of the word using dictionary.com.
