Air Pressure

Air pressure is the force exerted by the weight of the air.



Lower air pressure means the air is less dense (lighter).
Higher air pressure means the air is more dense (heavier).
Faster-moving air has lower pressure and is less dense (lighter). 
Slower-moving air has higher pressure and is more dense (heavier).
